I recently acquired the domain name

NokiaGalaxy.com

It is receiving more than 3,000 uniques per day. Over 100,000 per month.

Do you have any better ideas of what to do with it. It is currently parked and doing allright. But unlike my other 200 domain names at namedrive (See my report why NameDrive Rocks - NameDRIVE success ) it has really bad click throughs - not sure what kind of traffic its getting but I want to find better ways to monetize the traffic.

Any ideas?

Setup a simple webpage with a little bit of genral info on cell phones and add some google adsense/PPC links. With 3,000 uniques a day you should see some decent revenue.

list available nokia cell phones and have a voting function where users can vote on the phone they like the most...

Provide info about cell phone models and then also sell new cell phones and maybe a way for people to sell used ones too!

DaVinci, what sort of revenue are you getting from the site in it's current state (i.e. parked)?

I would do the following myself:

(1) Install Wordpress (best blog software ever)
(2) Install the MW1 theme, which supports Google Adsense.
(3) Install an RSS aggregator, and have the blog autopopulate with the best 5 or 10 cell phone blogs.
(4) Throw up Google Adsense.
(5) Get that going for a while, and then apply for Chitika (http://chitika.com/), which I hear is where you really make money... as you become an affiliate, and you get paid each time someone buys a cell phone through your site... Alternatively, you can become an affiliate for Amazon, who sells cell phones.

DISCLAIMER: I've not generated revenue doing any of the above yet, nor am I sure if it is legal to scrape blogs via RSS, but I've read about others doing this... and am experimenting with it myself (examples below).

Put up all the headlines regarding to Nokia. A handful of the people going to your site could be shareholders.... I'm a shareholder of Nokia!!! Good looking N-Series.. I have to say a "strong buy"

Get involved with an affiliate program from a site that sells cell phones.

I would do 3 things with this space:

- Affiliate with a reputable company selling Noikia cell phones.
- Affiliate with a reputable company selling accessories for Nokia cell phones.
- Get a Google News RSS feed for Nokia (keeps the content fresh)

Further, you could also
- Provide a text messaging service (a very small feature along the side of the site)
- Affiliate with a company which sells ringtones and graphics. Flycell (http://www.flycell.com) has a good affiliate program which pays through CJ for every time a visitor receives their free ringtone or wallpaper. People like free stuff.
