The 'Virgin' group has a reputation for not doing anything unless it can show the public that there is a better way to do something. The company structure stems from making employees happy, so they keep customers happy, and that keeps the shareholders happy.

I met the VIce President of Virgin, And their whole business system is very interesting, essentially they are venture capatalist that offer their brand name.

I read Richard Branson's book, Losing my Virginity, and he has become my business idol. He challenges the status quo and pushes on through some of the most difficult obstacles and toughest competitors to gain marketshare.

In addition to being a relentless business magnate, he is a stunt junky! Near-death high-speed boating across the Atlantic and world-wide hot-air ballooning trips. I love this guy!

There is an old cliche that says something like "you don't know success until you know failure" or "you can't really be successful until you taste failure"...

This same cliche holds true for Branson except on a much bigger scale. He has had some OUTSTANDING failures to compliment his OUTSTANDING success.

Except he is tottally self built, he started by dropping out of college at 16 to start a magazine. And then started virgin records.
