What Did You Do Today?
Not unlike a plant, your business needs to be nourished daily in order to grow and thrive and reach its full potential. What did you do today to nourish your business? Did you write an article, and distribute it across the internet? Did you advertise? Did you distribute a press release? Did you participate in a discussion on a popular forum or blog? Did you contribute any content to social networking sites? Did you write an e-book? Did you send out an e-mail promotion or newsletter? Did you collaborate on a joint venture?
What did you do today to nourish your business?

hey king, well I wrote an article for my blog. Sent it to digg, and reddit. And then posted it here on youngentrepreneur.com so i think that thread is right under yours...lol
Anyway, i post about 2 articles a day. Keep the site simple, and try to keep a good relationship with the readers.
I also optimized my blog for search engines, and rearranged the layout little...

Hi Dale,
For one of my businesses I prepped the final stages of our website revamp and redesign, discussed some issues with the CTO, got in touch with old and new clients to let them know of our progress, and tried to finalize the new amendment to our operating agreement that I added due to some new structure and revenue streams.
For my other, I contacted SCORE regarding a legal question, got that squared away, and am now working on an Executive Summary to distribute to potential clients, sponsors, and affiliates.
Finally, for another, I contacted the Massachusetts Alcohol Beverage commission regarding some legal statues we are trying to grasp the gist of as well as followed through with some contacts for when we go live.
I also did the day time thing of being a financial analyst.
And am now here, at it once again with who knows what.
Great post Dale,
Guy

Today I've contacted a few VC acquaintances to get their feedback on the site; written some new articles for DormWise, submitted my site to 100 directories and set up my google analytics account.

I did some research on the topic that I want to write article, write 50% of the article, read some financial news (I'm a personal finance blogger), read 100 pages of book and come over here to meet some friends.

I worked for about 4 hours at my brick and mortar biz. Spent about an hour fooling around with the colors on my website. Wrote 4 articles and submitted them to various places. Posted on 3 of my blogs. Wrote a few paragraphs in the new ebook I am writing. Played on skillground.com for a bit. Now I am going out with friends for my birthday
You rock Dale.
