Webspace and Bandwidth
hi
I'm a bit curious to know, what are the advisable sizes of webspace and bandwith for a blog/personal site?
Thank you.

If you're not hosting videos then you don't need much. If you're not hosting pictures then you need even less. If you're not planning on a shitload of visitors then even less. I'd say 20GB/month bandwidth and 500MB space with room to upgrade should be more than enough for you.

id say your over killing it alot, if its just a blog script and posts were talking what not even 10mb of space, 50mb is well enough, bandwidth well how many visitors do you need? id say no more than 2gb to start you off then you can always upgrade easily by asking your host.

Hi,
That really does depend on how many people visit your site, I rmember
getting my first paid package and I bought LOADS of webspace and
bandwidth to be safe, but atleast it never went down due to it! Its up to how much you are willing to pay too.

To be honest, there is really no need to buy a plan with low amounts of either attribute, because you would be over-spending. Look for something that gives you at least 10GB of space and 100 GB of transfer, which is easy to find today for just $4 or $5 a month. This gives you ample room for any growth, as well, so you're not constantly having to upgrade your plan.

The Stealthy One - you mention a 10GB space and 100MB upload - for $4 to $5 a month - well i would suggest getting the lowest package from godaddy - not the free one though.
It gives you 250,000MB bandwidth and 500mb upload for about $4/month - its actually uinder that so that is definatley enough for your needs

Yes, a package like that would work just fine.
Whatever you do, don't go with a package that gives you 200MB of space and, say, 2GB of transfer - you just will be overpaying, plain and simple.
