Currently all of my sales are online, I do not operate in a physical location. This is really great because keeping a large inventory often is not necessary.

It may be different for clothing in general, but you can target a specific market (Niche) you may find better results if you can dominate multiple smaller markets, rather than being generic Clothing...

Our products are specifically for the Ford Focus, so we have a very specific niche, with greater than 3 Million Foci worldwide, and a small percentage in the aftermarket parts useage makes for a great target. The major problem we have now is making contacts and language barriers in other countries.

hi actariq2

I suppose the biggest pro to going online is that you can run your business from any location anywhere in the world at any time. The main con in my view is the amount of complete rubbish sold on the internet as "required reading" if you want to run an online business. There are new fads being launched every day and if you are not careful you will end up with an inbox full of emails and no time to run your business.

Like any other business, an online business takes work and dedication but ultimately will be very rewarding and in a lot of ways is much better, flexible and less costly than a bricks and mortar outfit. It is also more forgiving - you have lot more to lose when setting up on offline business as potentially you have a lot more costs and expenses.

If you want to read up on online business try insiders secrets course by Derek Gehl.

Best of luck
