It depends on what you do with. The backend has value and so does the celebrity endorsements and apparel.

This guy is rich the same way Donald Trump is getting richer: media. His website being sold on eBay is just like that record breaking domain I read about on these forums. Sold strictly as a publicity stunt for profit by the seller. Turns out this guy really is a jerk... selling a website for 50k that has no profitable value. If he really wanted publicity he would say "Rich Jerk is selling a site on eBay" and he isn't doing that so I don't see it as a publicity stunt. He is actually trying to hide who he is.

As far as the website he is selling just because he couldn't do anything with it doesn't mean another person can't. A lot of people sell businesses that others make successful.

Jimmye - taking something off limewire that is copyrighted is against is TOS and what it says when you are downloading the program. He does care if someone takes something for free that he is selling wouldnt you?

That site can be made very profitable. Any business can be turned around - a quote by me. If you have heard about Phillp Green - he is a very sucessful entrepreneur and a billionaire at that. He turned around the fortunes of ''BHS'', showing any business can be turned around.

Anyways 50k is a good deal for that website even though i am not going to bid or buy it. Because, it has had alot of publicity for one thing.

Secondly, it has 29k members and if you downgrade the hositng to a $100 dollar package a month liek he said it could be then, you could use the 29k as a sellnig point for advertising on the website, reaching 29k members is a reasonable good target area with 74% female so that shows who is the largest target market.

Yeah their a few celebrity endorsement which I thought might make it easier to sell. If you kept it the same then how it is now would you think it would be worth 50k?

No. Why? Would you pay $50k, and if you kept that hosting plan of $900month and not try and make anything off it, that would be stupid.
