I notice a lot of people sell frontpage/dreamweaver templates on EBay, and it always comes with like 1,000 templates + master resell rights.

Would it be profitable to make a webpage and just sell all the files for the templates like people do on ebay? I'm sure it would be simple to set up. Once they send you $3 paypal, they will get an automatic email with download instructions.

You'd have to have a pretty good domain... but what do you think? I'm sure the templates are not profressional by any means, but a lot of people might buy the 1,200 package simply because it's only $3.

Template for more than $50 are going to have a hard time finding a market... It's pretty saturated.

It's also a global market-- designers from Eastern Europe and the Far East are WAY cheap.

On another note, FrontPage is being discontinued by Microsoft.

Because FP sucks. But if you think about it from a marketing perspective, anyone who is stupid enough to use FP is stupid enough to buy FP templates.

I use frontpage sometimes but it doesnt mean i will buy frontpage templates. why? because you can make them yourself from scratch sometimes better.

But, i use dreamwever more as it is a far superior program and if you was to do templates i think you should make dreamweaver ones. Why? is a better program, more types of scripting better choices and much much more...
