$1 and your package is worth $399, something i would only do for a while to build up a portfolio, and if i sold one for $1 i would stop probably straight away or add a decent starting bid price.

I noticed you had a reserve price on your pacakges now, is this because you sold one for $1?

yeah... the ebay thing is really more of an experiment and a promotional thing, so we can hope to branch out a little more on word of mouth. But yeah $1 is a pretty big loss. So we have a reserve now, but the reserve is super low... like $85... thats still a good deal.

wow... why don't you find a different way to promote or a different focus for your business. Is it really worht your time to chase a few bucks in an over-saturated sector of business... this sounds cheesy but try to "think outside the box" and look at what is currently offered by your competition and develop unique packages around something a customer is looking for that is not being marketed correctly... that is what i would try to do... otherwise you'll be working all hours of the day trying to fulfill orders that basically have little to no value for your company.

Its a good start dont get me wrong but just because others are doing it... should you?

definately valuable advice.

As you said though, the market is pretty saturated already so it's difficult to find those tiny avenues to separate you from the pack. I'm not saying it can't be done, but our concern is becoming established with our product and we've had good success with word of mouth, we thought this might be a way to get some people talking in different parts of the country. Albiet for an immediate financial loss, but we're banking on it paying off down the road.

More than anything it's a good experiment for a couple of things... but i doubt we'll be continuing this much longer.

Thanks again for the advice... we'll keep our noses to the grindstone.
