Poker, whos making money online ???
I have been playing online poker for quite a while now and and been making good money from it also. But what I wonder is anyone making a living from online poker and good enough to keep consistent enough to win over and over again.
Let me know how you are getting on and tell us your experience ??

The way I make money is playing poker with other people, at a table, not online. The reason I don't do the online thing is because I can't see the other persons body language so its hard for me to call a bluff or what not.

Yes you are definitely correct about playing offline instead of online. But it seems now that alot of people are playing online and that many players are earning a living from it. I have been playing alot and have picked up many tricks and experience. But I would like to know if anyone is actually making a full time living from this and also how they have gained a consistent level of winning.? Is online poker banned in the US ??

any sort of gambling online is illegal in the US now. But it has to involve money for it to be considered "gambling".

A loop hole to gamble over the internet for US citizens is to open up an offshore credit card. A bunch of my friends opened bank accounts in germany so they can play at partypoker. Last I checked gambling is actualy not illegal over the internet, The govt just made it so americans cant play (banning most sites from accepting american credit cards and paypal). Of course there are sites like Bodog that have long processes to get money, via mailing a check (i think). which is why our govt is always after him.
Personally, i was up $7,000+ on roulette at one point, but I lost it as fast as i made it.

There's lots of things you can do, it doesn't make it legal though, lol. The US government didn't make it impossible for US citizens to gamble online, they just made it illegal. Its a persons choice whether they want to break the law or not.

I dont think its illegal, the governement have just made new laws on how you can finance your poker account, or something like that. i live in the uk so im not 100% sure, but i dont think online poker is completely illegal apart from in one state (washington ??).
I play poker purely for enjoyment, last year i probably made about $3000 which is good for a hobby, as usually hobbies cost money.

most poker bots are scams, there are a few privately owned ones that are very succesfull however. they dont run 24/7 though as the sites can pick up on them and ban the users and freeze all cash in there account.
