I'm new here and would first like to say "hi" to everyone. I just started my new website www.totalnutritionsource.com and am looking for advice as to effectively market my site.. including SEO.. I have a very meager budget and I have yet to set up my meta tags and everything. So any constructive criticism would be great. Thanks

chris, your site is very good and nutrition andd health are big business now. Are you dropshipping your products? What ecommerce service are you using?

I think they look great, there just needs to be some incentive and credibility. Like you should show your price vs. other sites for each item and also give press coverage or it would be really great if you produced some advice videos for dogs and weightlifting that would act as viral marketing and give credibility.

I like your sites a lot though.

I am weary of the domains. You should go with something shorter for nutrition niche or forward an easy domain like TNSHealth, ShopTNS, TNSSHOP.com or something, and petbuys.com might get some of your pet-buys traffic.

but if you have the best price, amazing customer service, credibility and fast shipping people will be sure to tell their friends and return themselves.

ok i guess your focus was marketing. I would say viral advice videos on youtube, a myspace with videos, stickers, offer free month, year gym mebership, try to get popular with high school athletes (25$ gift certificate to the big high school hit of the week), etc. things like that arent too pricey and may get u some free pr.

As far as SEO goes, what keywords/phrases are you looking to optimize it for? The site look really nice, but without a lot of text it will be tough to optimize it in a niche like that. What have you done to optimize it so far?
