Please review my website.... :)

http://www.cre8tiv-vision.com/clients/procheerresource/

This is the rough draft that was sent to me a couple of days ago. He had business meetings but I should get an updated one today or tomorrow. The things I am already having changed:

*title bar (Where grey and blue meets) not so pixelated
*Getting rid of the bullhorns (We are talking about pro cheerleaders, not high school.)
*Instead of a "news" section it is going to be an "Audition Watch" Section.
*Changing the sillhouettes at the to ones that look a little sexier and "older" I am also thinking about putting a photo up there instead and just having it transparent blue and infused into the title bar.
*Changing the pictures on the front page. those are just me and a couple different girls on my team. I don't have the copyright for those photos.

What other reccomendations should i give him? I think he did a good job though. If any of you need a website done, I would reccommend him (Robert at Cre8tive Visions) He's a really nice guy and helpful.

Thanks!
Jamie

nice colors and decent design, but the logo needs to be changed. Very nice photos i would recommend keeping them their :P but of course if they are gonna cause infringments ebst to take them off.

The menu bar is suiting, how do you plan to pull rvenue form this site, or do you plan on pulling revenue from the site... what exactly is this site for?

The logo as in "Pro Cheer Resource" or the silhouette of the cheer girls? I was thinking about changing the text to a different style, just not sure what yet. Something a little more professional.

You like the pics? Thanks! the bottom right one is me :P

The revenue from this site will be in the sale of swarovski flatback rhinestones (I know most of you have no idea what those are, but believe me, they buy tons of them), sale of used audition attire, and I am selling listing spots to companies/enteties wanting to advertise their services to these girls. The listing spots are sorted by team )for example if you wanted to be an Arizona Cardinals Cheerleader, you would click on that link, and it would give you the different places in that area that help girls with their auditioning needs. I'm not going to get rich off of it, but it might help move me out of the 8-5 world that I HATE.

ya i was refering to the text part of the logo also it seems unprofesionali agree.

I would consider putting some small links to available invetory right ont he front page with a small picture, kinda like a little previewer you could put promote items, especially items on sale to grab peoples attention. You could also look at things like adsense for a bit extra revenue. That will help you get out of the "rat race" so to speak. have you made up any sort of sales pitch or marketing package to use as leverage to convince these aencies or whom ever your giong to try and get to advertise? Also have you started to make up a list of contacts for these groups? iots never to early to start.

In addition, yes you are a very pretty girl, you could just quite the grind and takeup modeling or something i would imagine

Well, you have to be a bit taller than 5'4" to be a model, haha. Besides, it seems like models are getting uglier and uglier... So I don't think its a good business choice- so to speak... The stock is not as good as it used to be!

I already have a long list of companies and their addresses who would benefit from marketing on my page. I have a letter written up too. I just need to give it to my advertising savvy friend to review. I should be sending out the mailer soon. I have a couple of companies I will put on there for free (friends of mine) just to make it look like people ARE buying spots.

That a good idea about putting some picture links on the front page. I don't have as much text for the home page as it show on teh example so I can just feature it right under the text.

How long did he take to make this site?

It looks extremely simple.

A decent webmaster could recreate the exact same site in less than a half an hour. (No exageration)

As if they used a very limited template and put in the extras.

Also the logo is just large text.

I hope you didnt break your bank for this design.

Just my 2 honest cents. I don't mean anything by it, just constructive criticism.

Tell us when the revised site is ready.

No he gave it to me in about a day. Just as a rough draft. And I didn't pay that much either... A couple internet savvy friends of mine told me it was a good price.

I am not worried about it looking simple because I HATE sites that are too "busy." As long as it looks professional and legit I will be happy. And I still need to have an actual logo made. In you opinion does it look "too" simple to be a professional website? Maybe take out the light design on the background of the text?
