Hey guys, for those of you who dont know me.
Im Rory, haven't posted here in a while .
Well, School is almost up, so here I am.

I recently purchased this domain. www.InternetGamers.org , from someone over at talkfreelance.com ( evan).
I must say, I think it was a good buy, at this is just up my alley which is of course gaming.
What do you guys think of the domain?
Good Buy, Dumb Buy.
After I hear a couple comments, i'll reveal how much I paid for it.

if it was cheap i thing it would be a good buy, only downside to it is the .org other than that its a really good domain

The keywords are great... InternetGamers- generic,easy to remember...perfect.
however the ORG hurts it of course.
so as far as resale value of the domain ALONE... not all that great.

however use it for a forum setup etc... and build it, b/c it has good keywords so promote it and should be a success for you.

I think the value of the domain isnt much at this very moment considering:

internetgamers.us AVAILABLE
internetgamers.biz AVAILABLE
internetgamers.info AVAILABLE
internetgamers.co.uk AVAILABLE
internetgamers.org.uk AVAILABLE

I think it might make a good forum with game reviews and if you can develop it into that, it could be worth alot. Heck if you review games well enough companies might actually start sending you games to review

Only downside is the *.ORG extension, thats a bit time consuming!

If you are planning a free site, like a free arcade, then a .org is ok because it shows your site is free.

How much you pay then...?

I just in LOVE with it, I am of course going to develop it properly and not just some overnight project
I feel that the .org was the next best thing after .com , and for what im doing the .org is just as good or maybe im just lieing to myslef.

Alrite, i paid $50 for it.
The funny thing is, i saw it first for $20, but I didnt have the cash in my PayPal so I had to make it go
I was pretty surprised when I saw it again, even though the price has risen to $50.
