Need Help on Advertising

I am a young entrepreneur, dont even drive yet. I built a website to sell hardware and tools online. I setup a dropshipper in California for all my products. My domain is www.tooltimeusa.com I need help! I am not sure how to go about advertising, I am not sure weather I should use google and pay per click. I just applied for a merchant account the other day and should have that intergrated asap. I really want to get sales up there. Let me know what you reccomend and if you reccomend me to change or add anything to my website.

Thanks in advance.

Steve

For starters you can sumbit your site's products to Froogle. It is free, and if someone searches for your product then it will probably come up. Go to Froogle to sign up. Click the Information for Merchants on the bottom of the page to sign up. Another free way to promote your site is to write articles about tools and sumbit to article websites. If anyone is interested in tools, then they can come across your article, read it, and go to your website. If you have some money to spend I recommend three things. Google Adwords, Overture, and Yahoo Shopping. Google Adwords is probably the best. You can bid for whatever you want on the keyword, and get those targetted people to your website. Overture is pretty much the same. The only main difference is that you won't get as much from it as you would Google. The final option is Yahoo Shopping. This is the paid version of Froogle. There is a forced pay-per-click depending on your category. Oh, and don't forget good ol' search engine marketing. You should always get some traffic from there. If you use all of the things I have listed, then you should be getting some nice targetted traffic and some nice sales from that traffic.
