I am just wondering. I know a lot of people in this forum ask if it is actually possible to make a living with an online business. I would like to know who in this forum actually makes a living from their online business.

My website www.mojacity.com makes around $2,000 a month but we are young and only serving one city. We plan to expand to many other cities and making a living off of the site.

If you make a living off of your website or a good chunk of money please share your story? I am just curious?

My company makes enough to pay me, and my company makes its money from a few websites, not just one; the main one is in my signature though. The key is to have multiple revenue sources, even within one business you can still have different places that you earn revenue.

I believe you need multiple websites to develop a steady sustainable income source. It also depends on your business model as well, if you're using adsense as your income source or selling a product or virtual space.

Always best to have more websites, in my point of view atleast.

Or if you have a really good niche that you can base your website on, something i'm trying to find, if you have too many websites, wouldn't that seem like a full time job then?

I am making a little bit of money (about $9 a day) with the Websites I am selling. My new site (more of a hobby) is not making anything yet, but I plan to offer a few business opportunities from it, and make at least a couple of hundred dollars a month.

Yes, I know a few people personally that are making over a grand a month with their web sites.

Mine are just starting to get popular - I make about $500 a month strictly from web site activity.

Adsense cheapens your product and I would not recommend advertising competitiors that way...
