License Management?
I am planning to release a software (project management web application) for which I am want to offer 30 day evaluation trial license.

I have seen some web applications offering licenses in the form of xml file which carries some information related to product and also a license key. Initially user will have only limited feature in their product (evaluation version) after paying to the concerned company they will get a xml license file which activates all the features of the product.

Does anybody know how such license works?(I meant what is the logic behind it).

Currently I am offering free download of such product with minimal features. After advertising in download sites I am receiving good download count for the past 1 month.
