.jobs domains?

Just got this new domains extension, .jobs

Its an expensive domain for now. Its funny to me but we will be starting to offer this domain.

hhhmmm..... I'm thingking what kind of idea will come out from this new extensions.

It's never made any sense to me to go with anything but .com on any venture, even if it is a niche site.

.com is what the mass market knows and understands.

I agree here. With any business venture you want everyone to be able to find your site easily, and a .jobs extension won't do that. Even .net and .org can get people confused. I don't think you want any other extensions if you want to attract a large traffic flow of serious customers. For more specified ventures (usually not built around sales) the other extensions are useful in some cases, but I think .com is generally what you want.

I agree with you guys. I found that any other extensions is hard to market via internet and traditional marketing.

Even .ca extensions is marketable, I have to changed all my site to a .com except our SmallBizPages.ca & .us
