I have a real quick question, I found a web design firm and they offered me a dedicated server with my package for $49.99/Month well $50.00 a month. Is that good price for dedicated server?

Is it a good deal for the hosting part? Any advice would be helpful

It is a good deal, but it is probably a crappy server at that price. What are the specs?

Just as an FYI, for a good dedicated server solution, the least you want to pay is really about $90-$100 a month.

$50/month for a dedicated server - can you give us what your getting for the $50/month so we can tell you if its worth it or not

For a dedicated server the price is roughly $100/month - so if your getting the same for $50/moth you've got yourself a good deal...

That is a great price, but I doubt you'll get high quality support and
stability with that server. Expect what you pay for .

I found a very cheap web domain. I'm new at this but whats the problem in buying a super cheap one?

Well the pricing looks tempting, but there has to be a catch somewhere. Probably the server uptime is not good, which would really create a mess for your website. I found Site5, which is really good. Plus the server uptime etc are really good. SO might want to give them a try.
