some feedback about blog

it lacks both qualitative (i.e. comparing references) and quantitative (i.e. crunching data) analysis

all that I've found is you posting rules of thumb, without providing authoritative links

not what I am looking for

what I need is a blog heavy on case studies, good references, strong quant bias, and a bunch of entertainment/humour

overall, you'll benefit from developing an overarching approach (e.g. modern portfolio theory, arbitrage, 12 step personal finance program etc) and deriving each post from this general theory/ guideline

if not - you choose to be uninteresting, and certainly unremarkable

remember - good blogging is not about you spitting what you know. it's about tapping into a conversation with other bloggers who write on similar themes. this way, you become interesting, get links etc etc..

focus on quality rather than quantity and hopefully you'll be able to excite your readers and keep them coming.
