Ideas for streaming video?

im looking to add some streaming video to my site as a better form of content then the current photo but im struggling with ideas for what videos to put up there. I've considered finding free marketing videos to upload but I think that would bore most of my potential audience.

Do you guys have any ideas? What would make it more interesting for you?

thnks
Russ

Hello Russ,

Who is your audience? I think if you were to define this a bit more clearly it might help me and others give you some better advice. Thanks Russ

Yeah, sorry I should have been more clear.

If you visit the site you'll get the basic idea behind it. I aim to get one million unique visitors without spending a penny on advertising.

It's a very simple idea but it's also pretty unique and Judging from the response I've had so far there is defo some interest as to whether or not I can achieve my goal.

From my point of view i'm using the site as a research experiment into the most useful marketing techniques I should use when I launch my online business idea in the coming months.

So, in terms of the streaming video, I basically want to something there that will attract as many people as possible to the site via WOM. I would expect most of my visitors to be either perspective webmasters, people from forums similar to this or young, bored people who stumble upon the site from my link partners, press releases, myspace etc.

Any ideas at all would be great.

thanks.

People like to laugh, if you can get your hands on some funny videos and post a new one every few days you can keep people coming back.

Stream Jessica Simpson's "These Boots Were Made For Walkin" video. I once visited a blog where the creator put up pics of Jessica just to get more hits. The topic of the blog was something completely different like politics or law, etc. You could test it out and get back to us on this.

I see how you are planning to make your million hits. You are doing a great job. Well at least you just got my hit

It's always a good thing to ask for ideas as you are doing here and every person will normally click to offer an opinion. I think you need to hit many more popular forums to get more clicks.

thanks, yeah, you can never have too much feedback.

I am not out to make my million hits from spamming forums though. I am also running the site to help me gain experience of web marketing as a prequel to my next idea - whatever that may be. I'd like to think the skills I learn here and advise I get from you guys will help me in the future.

I'm currently working on a business plan so the site has taken a back seat over the last few days but i'll get back on the promotion trail soon!
