I need some critique for my Site

I recently constructed Frictionless-Market.com, is a new site so it might not look very complete.

I would greatly apprecaite if the readers of this forum would visit my site and sign my guest book and tell me your comments and suggestions.

Thanks

Not professional enough for a buisness site in my opinon. Some of it doesn't work in Mozilla Firefox (I think about 35-40% of people with the internet use Firefox).

For the banner, maybe GIF would give better result than JPEG.

Your website can be viewed in Firefox, but not as good as in InternetExplorer. Try to view your website in FireFox, you can download it for free. Then find out which part of your website that doesn't really work in Firefox. Infact, get browsers as many as you can and test your website there.

You should run spell check, too. "Advertisement" is misspelled on the home page. And some of the grammar is off, too. I'm still not really sure what it is that you do...?

less is more

I agree with aquanova27 that the top graphic should be a gif not a jpeg. Low quality jpegs leave ugly lines around the text. Since there's only a few colours a gif pic would have a smaller file size too.

"Business Advertiement Program-"Our goal is to provide the ability for any small to large companies to inform the consumers about the goods, the servies and the products that they can provide"

Even if you overlook the spelling/grammar that sentence is hard to understand. I've just finished reading the book 'Hot text' (its about writing for the internet). Its main point- was to keep the text on your website brief and to the point.
People will often quickly scan through a website checking to see if it is relevant. They want information fast, and if your headings aren't clear, they wont stick around.

the rule "less is more" applies here

better still save it to PNG-8/24, great quality, low file size. I've got to agree with some people's comments. (Forgive my brutal honesty) First of all the quality of the site is sub-standard. If you can't do it yourself, get a professional or use a professional web template (templatemonster.com). You need to improve your layout a bit, your services and packages are all over the place, reconsider some of your service category titles, keep it simple.

Your overall idea seems to be well thought out, but you need to review it all again, get a friend to read through it all...fresh eyes will help you. And finally, check out similar companies to your own, see how they have approached their website. Hope I have been of some help, good luck!
