I Have a Domain Name...

I have this domain name, castleinternet.com (right now it is forwarding to my business site) that I want to do something with. I have tossed around the idea of a Visp, Family Security software, but nothing is really jumping out at me.

Anybody have some ideas? I am really into niches, based on the name it at least has to do with the internet in some way.

Also, if a good idea is a result of this post I would like to start a community project with this. I have hosting for 2 more years paid up. It could be a place where we can all contribute our talents (show off our abilities). Granted we won't make a million, but it would fun, another project for our portfolio's, and if the traffic is there then advertising our businesses would fit right in.

If anyone is interested then I am ready. I have the domain, and hosting...

when I read the name, the first thing that jumped into my head
was a hosting company.
"Castle Internet, build your castle"
to bad the competition is outrageous.
(oooh I like that slogan)

I'll keep thinking of some ideas for you.

Hosting

I was thinking about a hosting company, but do something totally crazy, something to give us a lot of PR, super niche audience.

Castles are huge, imposing fortresses, right? Well, how about a super-secure hosting service? I'm talking all the latest and greatest systems to ensure that a client's information is invulnurable. Good niche, catering to the paranoid-types. Just an idea...

CastleInternet.com

I have decided to to turn CastleInternet.com into a website to help students. The target audience will not be college students but younger, 12-18, middle & highschool ages. Also the site needs to be built around technology & internet.

Like I said I would like to make this into a community project and will be recruiting individuals to help build this site. The 'about.com' project is similiar to what this will turn out to be, but it will not be personalized like about.com. But, anyone that helps with a specific category will get to put any affiliate ads, or ads for their own company, as long as it is a relevant product/service. (for example if you want to contribute to the "build a website" section the ads must be hosting, educational cd's etc...)

Some of the things I want to include are:
Homework help (Many categories available)
Programming
Build a website
Money & Savings
Colleges (technology specific university reviews?)
Youth Business Ideas
and more...

If your interested in contributing, then please send me an email with what category(ies) that you will like, and I will reserve it for you. The site and infrastructure will be complete by the end of may.

The site will be built with search engine optimization & easy navigation as the number one concern, for obvious reasons. Articles, interactivity, and stickyness will be required as this is going to be "community", NOT a shopping portal. Because young people have a hard time making purchases online it will be our job to get them hooked with great information, keep them coming back, oncentrate on specific topics, giving them specific benefits for every product so they can go to mommy & daddy with these tools.

Questions?
