How to create lots of buzzzzzz!?!?!
I was wondering how to create an enormous amount of buzz off and online. The million dollar homepage created a lot of buzz. Granted it was a unique idea, I assume it created most of its buzz by a Press Release. Does anyone know how exactly to get a Press Release for your website if it is really unique and may be interesting to others to look at.
I know someone here knows how to do this... Help a brother out!

Pay an experienced climber to scale a well-known building or landmark with your branding all over him, the rest will take care of itself...all you need to pay for is his bail money.

Seriously, why don't you search this forum or the internet? You might find what you are looking for much faster that way.

You could hire someone to write a press release or you could do it yourself. Then you can go to a service like PrWeb.com. I'm not sure where they distribute the press releases though.

I know I am sarcastic about 80% of the time...but I wasn't actually joking about the climber. In the past 10 years loads of similar stunts have been pulled to draw attention to a new company. It all depends on the type of business though, where an energy drink may find stunt advertising beneficial, a law practise may not.

Try reading the book "Buzzmarketing" by Mark Hughes.

Buzz or word of mouth marketing is something that I've been researching extensively for the last couple months. I don't believe that a press release will give you enormous amounts of "buzz" you'll have to look for other methods. And those really depend on the industry you're in.
I'm currently reading "Creating Customer Evangelists", and it's excellent for showing how to get people talking about you.
