The one I'm talking about has about 8 million views total from her videos. The videos are there forever continually sending new people to the website.

Hi I think Youtube is great, huge traffic.
when you have it up, you have to think of targeted keywords that you use on your title, description and tags.
Also, not to forget to mention that the quality of your video (such as the sound) is crucial!
Another point is, the more people rate you, the higher up you go. so get exposed, ask your friends to rate you as a start:P and comment on other people's youtube (think of your target market and what videos they watch! )
