How does my site look?
News-String.com

It launched yesterday and is still in the beta stages, but let me know what you guys think. My object is for it to be an ideal homepage for people who doent want to go all over the web to look at their favorite news sites.

I like the concept. The only issue I had was with images not loading, and it's aligned to the left of my screen.

I really like this idea. I also agree that you should get CNBC/WSJ up there for financial interest.

I like it. Very simple. Which is what you need to go for. From a design standpoint I dont know if its the font or what, but the "News string" Looks a little to funky to me. But I am very picky when it comes to that stuff, so you can choose to ignore me. Anyways great idea, great site, keep going!

i like ur idea.
let me be frank with some of my observations
1. its very slow. its taking a lot of time to load. the standard, atleast thats what i heard is a site should load completely in not more than 8 seconds
2. try for a logo
3. try being better with graphics, the font

otherwise you are good. please visit Alltop, all the top stories. it might help you

Nice concept and layout is looking good - I remember you asked for feedback on this site a few weeks ago and it's really improved! It looks good but I agree about the slow load time. Also, you might want to have a section you maintain yourself where people can vote for top news stories from all networks.
