Erm domain parking is just pointing a domain at a blank space until someone buys it...
But i think you parking domains and selling them many people have become millionairs this way but today it is hard, snipers run by huge companies buy out all expiring domains so you have no chance of getting a useful domain.
Today domain parking is a marketing tool which encourages people like yourself to buy mass amounts of domains from web companies, dont fall for it its a get rich quick scheme which will fail.

Yeah there's absolutely no money in domain parking.
And there's no possible way you can make money.
...
It's difficult, and you're pretty late to the game but of course you can make money in it. To say somethings impossible is just stupid.

I am in the domain name business and domain parking is a lot bigger than you may think. I know lots of people who make lots of money with domain parking. If you park a name with lets say Sedo.com, sedo.com puts adds on that domain and you get paid whenever someone clicks the add. There are people out there making a living off their parked domains.

I've tried it, and was not successful. The only real way to be successful is to have an awesome, "type-in" domain.

Yeah. He tried it once. He must know what he's talking about. That must be the only way.

I have tried parking a few of my domains and I have not been sucessful. Sure, you get the odd clicks but nothing that is significant.
If you would like to park your domain here are just a few places you can go:
If you have a domain that will recive alot of typin traffic, you could be onto a winner.

I am currently in the domaining business too. I think its a bit short sighted to think there are not many people profiting from thousands of domain names out there. I sold 25 names i had registered over a few months for $550 in total, but i registered each name for about $7, so i made a tidy profit on that. I currently have some domain names parked, and i make a few dollars every month. I haven't put that much money into domain names either, so that limits the scope of profitable domain names you can buy. ON forums like namepros, you can find quality domain names getting revenue, but once again, what you put in is what you get. THe web is going to experience alot of growth in several years at least, and domain names are the gateway. THe web and world are getting more populated, making the demand for d omain names rise. Many more people are going online these days too.

whoah, that complete threw me off track man, its like you're having an arguement with yourself
Anyways, domaining still has alot of potential, as long as you have good type-in domains and a good place to park.
think about other TLDs for other countries.
