Did anyone encounter a problem with google, as in having their website come up when searched for it, and then one fine day it would disappear from the searches??? Same thing with yahoo, disappeared at the same time. The website was through myspace, ie www.myspace.com/blahblah. Ideas and thoughts please.

Google recently updated their search criteria. They're squelching out MySpace pages (i.e. junk/spam).

it happens, when google decides that your page ain't fit for their index, you get placed in supplemental.

That's really f-ed up because it was up there on Monday, that's a day after google updates were done i believe, and then on Tuesday, pooof disappeared.

Did all of your indexed pages get dropped or just a certain number?

the main myspace page got dropped, but the myspace pages that had my comments to other people are still there, and the main page for the site still comes up

the site is not new, myspace is somewhat of a recent birth less then 2 weeks

so the site came back, and i'm able to google it now
