I personally use RegisterSite.com for all my domain registrations, but that may change soon as I become a domain registrar (very soon, hopefully). I have used RegisterFly.com to register my SSL certificate for my StudentProgress.Info website (www.studentprogress.info) and I am extremely happy with their service as I was ripped off for an SSL cert in the past that wasn't recognized in browsers even though they said it was.

godaddy works great. I've used them for years.

Their control panel is one of the best i've used.

One thing is that if you buy many domains and not sure if you are going to renew it, you should uncheck the box for auto renew. it's automatically checked.
