Getting traffic from Craigslist

Here's something that I've noticed about Craigslist. If you want your site to get listed in Google's search engine quickly post an ad on Craigslist. Google loves Craigslist and spiders it daily.

Everytime I create a new site I post a small biz ad on Craigslist and in a couple of days it's in Google's search engine.

Craigslist is a great way to advertise. Nice and free, only takes a few seconds to create a post here and there

Thanks Vishenda,

I have been using Craiglist for about a month, you just have to be change your ad slightly if you post in multiple locales, as they will not allow the exact same info posted in different locations, I have a worldwide business so I try to post in different locales, usually ones that don't currently have a lot of traffic, as your post will fall to the bottom pretty quick in say New York

Heh, I've posted 35 variations of the same ad on Craigslist before, all in about a two-hour period of time. The only reason there weren't more is because I was sick of it after two hours.....

You're right, there should be variations of that same ad you're posting. I place different images so the ads look differently but links are of course the same.

There are affiliate progams that do not allow you to advertise to Craigslist.

Actually, it's the other way around - Craigslist does not allow you to advertise affiliate programs.
