What is the fastest type of internet connection. I heard t1 is the fastest, Considering it's around $400 a month.

T1 is what I have tested as the fastest.

T1 is not at all the fastest. OC12 is the fastest in general use, but there are even faster fibre alternatives.

T1 are probably the fastest connections a person or a small business will need. It's probably overkill in most cases. I have T1 at the office and cable/dsl at home and honestly, the difference between speeds isnt worth the extra 300-400 a month. Oh and as far as loading pages on the internet, the speed of the server your trying to load off of counts too. The fastest connection in the world isn't going to help if the site your trying to load is on a crappy server with sucky programming.

Here in the Philippines the Internet connection is really slow.

The fastest, so far, is DSL which for me is really really slow.

It feels like forever to load a page.

Luckily, I live near the business capital of the world, Silicon Valley, We have access to so many things here.
