Experience in Forums? help me out + make some money

Hello all,

I've been thinking seriously about creating a forum on this nice unexplored niche i found.. but i dont have any experience on programming and i would say my knowledge is somewhat limited on how it all works..

Now i've been trying hard to learn as much as i can recently but i feel that i will need help with it.

So if you know how to build a decent forum and you can prove it + you can guide me through how to operate a forum + explain how everything works (how to market it + how to get revenue from it) i will pay you..

anyone interested?
tell me what you can offer me and how much you want.

Matt

Forums are very easy. Login your Cpanel (or any form of control panel) and look for somewhere to install scripts. Most webhosts offer PHPBB and SMF forums in the control panel for you to install...just pick a favorite. The PHPBB admin panel is a little easier to work with.

I started HostingIndustryForum awhile ago, and sold it shortly after I started because I had run out of time to run it myself. Unfortunately, the fellow who bought it no longer maintains it. But, to see an example of a forum I started, you can go check it out: http://www.hostingindustryforum.com.

Well youmay have problems getting Phpbb to work, currently I am. While creating mine I get:
"
Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) in /home/content/*/*/*/*******/html/****forum/db/mysql4.php on line 48

Warning: mysql_error(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/content/*/*/*/*******/html/****forum/db/mysql4.php on line 330

Warning: mysql_errno(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/content/*/*/*/*******/html/****forum/db/mysql4.php on line 331
phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database" *'s= info i dont feel safe giving out, just being cautious.
