Hello,

I am the founder and ceo of everyface.com...Everyface.com is on a mission to make internet history by getting 1,000,000 faces on the site homepage. Right now I am working on the photos on the homepage to upload faster but I am looking for some feedback on the site...Let me know what you think about everyface.com

interesting idea. i like the set up. I see that u must be working on getting the faces up sooner, it is a tad slow, but hey if you're working on it then no biggy. is there a way to make the box or bubble(Which enlarges the pics) to appear on the outside of the pics and not over top of others.

do you have an area where you can seperate just to look at the girls faces or just the guys faces? is sign up free? with an idea like this have you tried a PRESS RELEASE? that may just give you a big opening into getting your site filled sooner? just some observations and thoughts...

But over all I like it. it is a unique idea.. Great job.. Good Luck.

Great Site, I like it!! Is it going to be a a place to meet people and will there be chat capabilities? I think that the faces should be a little bigger.

Innovative idea, but you're right, the site is damn slow. I can't imagine how long a 1,000,000 will take. You need to find some really good hosting for that.

Its a cool idea but I agree...it will take forever to load 1,000,000 faces. The design is also pretty awful. Try something a bit more professional!!

Thanks for all the good feedback for everyface.com I will try to answer all of yall questions..It is totally free to join everyface.com when you join your picture automatically goes on the front page and you become a part of history in the making. Once you become a member of the site you are able to communicate with other members that are apart of the site...You can send messages, make comments, blog, bulletin board etc you can also search for just girls and just boys..There isn't a chat system yet but one might be coming soon..I sent a press release for everyface.com and recieved a good response I even had bambi fransico contact me about her interest in the site and she wants me to submit a 2-3 minute video to her discussing a few things about the site...The site 1-million-faces.com is totally different from everyface.com and has a totally different mission....Everyface.com plans to make history with over 1,000,000 faces on the homepage, the other site is just out to make a scrap book with faces from around the globe. The other site charge a fee for some of the features but everyface.com is totally free to use if anyone.

Now, I might be wrong, but when a picture is loaded on a website the image is stored in the memory of the machine, if one million images are loaded, at what looks like 1 kb each, that would require about 1 gig of ram just to hold the images, which most people dont have.

It seems like the project has some very technical limitations, but I like the idea.

Also each image is an HTTP request. So 1 million plus requests from multiple people will definately tax your sever.

I think having 1,000 pages of 1,000 faces a piece might be an easier way to do things... Unless each face only gets a pixel. LOL

I think you definitely need to get some optimized graphics running there.
