I just put up the "rough draft" of my very first website ever. non of the buttons work yet, and I havent added the autoresponder scripts, but you can see what it looks like so far.

I need to know your opinions... what you like, what you don't like, what needs to be changed. im very new to this kind of stuff so i don't really know how to do it right.

i know the sales copy needs some work.. if you could give some specific suggestions on how to make it better i would really appreciate it.

i never really understood why anyone would read so much on one page and end up finding out they need to pay like 40 bucks for an ebook. Its kind of like thoes TV shows where they take about 30min to try to sell you something you will never need in your life. In the end, some sucker always picks up the phone and dials just because they are giving away something for free for the first 100 callers or something

It probably does sell, but its just way over my head why anyone actually buys it.

Yea, sorry... I think your site does suck... but I mean that in a nice way. The copyright is way too wordy, no punch... doesn't speak to the audience. The web layout is very clumsy as well. In your defense, a clean website with effective copywriting is an art. You've got to know your audience and present yourself very professionally (from a graphic design perspective).

I think this guy is much closer... he offers a video, knowing golfers are sophisticated.

I have one tip for you, stop being so negative.
eg. "does my site SUCK?" In my opinion, your telling me your site sucks and you want me to agree with you. This already makes me think your site DOES suck before I even clicked the link!

Try to sound more positive and impressive.
eg. "what do you think of my new site?" or "how can I improve my site?", etc.

To answer your question, your site functions well but doesnt look professional enough to be taken seriously. This because of all the different fonts and styles you have on the one page. Also the fact that the pictures and logo are kind of blurry add to the unprofessionalism of it.
If you can fix that stuff up, I think it'll improve your site a lot!

PS, did you write the books yourself?

Yes your site does suck, Use a template from www.oswd.org even though they arent great they are better than your site.

Looks O.k for promoting a Clickbank product. Just make sure you have good Meta Tags in place. I purchased one of these sites a couple months ago and am having good luck with it.

looks like i still got alot of work to do, better to hear it from you guys instead of putting it out there and not getting any sales.

kanthony39us, you mentioned good meta tags, could you elaborate? im still really new to building websites so be patient with me : )

anybody have any suggestions that would make it better?
