I am referring to the companies that promise 10,000-100,000 targeted hits to your website. Do they really work? Does anyone know of any good ones?

tried doing that, did not work for me, unless you have something that will CATCH their attention and retain them there it could possibly work.

More important than traffic is conversion, if you can't turn a visitor into a customer then it won't make a difference how many leads you get, targeted or not.

I think organic site growth is far better than these sites. Sure it takes longer, but the long term payoff is well worth it .

organic/natural search is the best i agree, it takes a good 3-6 months to see results but it will be good for the website/business. I still stand with the comment that if the website has poor conversion then traffic won't do much for it. Conversion is what every business owner wants and it should be top priority.

Thanks for the response guys, I think I know what you mean. So there should be some sort capture system in place? What are some ways that you guys do this? Newsletter, blog, email marketing?

breatheasy, I to had my doubts. After researching the principles in great detail, I can confidently say yes. I would not be involved if it wasn't.
