This is an interesting space. Here are two points to guide you:
a) You're on the right track. Men do have problems with romance, relationships and sexuality. There is a market for date doctors.
You absolutely must run a survey to identfy a whole bunch of critical things. Ask about this list if you want the thread to run longer.
b) To solve your "credibility" problem (and it is a problem), you must make use of user generated content. Get men to write a line of advice for how to pick up chicks, aggregate it and publish this info.
This is what you should do:
You can make an variant of Google Aswers. To post a question on your site (i.e. "how to get to third base"), the person must first answer a question posted by another user. Do you get it?
e.g. I come to the site. The first thing I see is a question from another user (i.e When is Valentines' Day?). I write an answer (14th Feb), I can then see all the other answers other people have posted to that question, and then I can post my own question (what's the best way to break up: phone or SMS?), after which I can answer another question and the circle repeats it self (other users come to the site and answer my question). I can also get a shot at posting another question by inviting a friend to the website (i.e. come to this website to answer this interesting question because I don't know the answer).
Other than solving your credibity problem (i.e. I trust what my peers say), there are other reasons why you should implement this user generated solution over other solutions. You can ask about that as well.
Finally:
If you can execute
b), you'll be successful.
To get it off the ground, do
a), gather the results which prove that you have a good idea, and then use those results to recruit people on this forum to make the site for you.
As always, so as to give you motivation, I think you are full of shit, there is no way you'll get off your ass to commercialise this venture, so it's left up to you to prove me wrong.
P.S. needless to say, stay away from implementing any silly forums. They're not elegant, effcient, or remarkable.
