Talking Critique one of my sites

Hey Everyone,

Am getting ready to alunch my newest product on the 16th of this month.

It is going to be a huge launch, my normal website creator is out on vaca time, so I will be putting this site up myself.Haven't done it in about 6 months I might of lost the touch lol...

Can you guys check this out, give me some hints on the sales letter on the side, and the graphics, the layout willbe changed and background, but I'm not worried abotu that right now

Thanks

www.product-erect.com

Not the url the site will be on, just bowworing it from a friend while I finish some past work on the old url

nope, no good.

1) images too large. slows site loading. change resolution in photoshop to decrease to 30-40kbs.

2) the top bit (the befits) is good. but you can rounded it off by highlighting the top three features which create these benefits.

3) no easy step. there's too much friction with product adoption. you need some kind of a free trial system.

4) you need testimonials because there's too much perceived risk.

5) don't follow the "what I do have is a down-to-earth, open-minded vision" line. You're in sales. Honesty is NOT the right approach. you need to sound like you've got a private line with god and you are kind enough to let mere mortals listen in on your call.

6) Looks cheap. Have screenshots of successful sites who've followed this program with their web statistics as captions. overlay this with pictures on money etc...

you site looks cheap. try to make it look desirable, of premium quality. that'll help you raise prices and ward of competition.

ok? so: no honesty (be extraordinary, don't be ordinary, people want to be led down a maze of deception), testimonials, screenshots, free trial, premium quality.

hmm, reminds me of one of thoes "get rich quick " schemed websites. I never understood why people would put practically 2 essay's worth of information on one page.

I had difficulty finding out what is actually up for offer as I was searching for how much it actually costs at the end of the page (yes, I noticed you wrote that in your page). I realised later its for an email opt-in (it is right? because I really didn't want to waste alot of time reading all that).

Basically, reminds me of something like this http://mintjobs.com/

Best line was:

"Read This Page, And I'll Show You How
To Earn $1,000.00+ Per Day
Right On Your Own Computer...

And the Kicker is... You Can
Do It Over And Over Again...
Day After Day!"

Anyways, yeh, I really don't know why people actually pay for things like that, would be cool if everyone could make thousands per day doing very little.

Thanks for the critique,

Yea testimonials are coming in....

There really isn't anything to be up for free trial,it is a book and software is free.

There is no get rich scheme on it.

It doesn't have to be perfect because it is going out to an established mind niche marketers to make their life easiers, this group is of 800 people, and they have pre signed up so I know how many sales I'm going to get...

I just wanted to boost it up a little, but I will ahve my website designer do that.
