Coding

What programming is most likely to be needed in the future? I have to decided to learn one or two and I would like to know which would be the best to choose.

C++? I guess it's the most versatile.

There's so many programing languages in this kind of days..And there will be some more to come on the future....More advance than what we have today.

And that when you are asking what programming languages that will be most likely used in the future...I just cant tell you that.

But the popular right now are PHP and Visual Basic.

well, php is a scripting language, not really programming, c++ is good to learn, because after you learn that, everything else becomes easy

i would recommend learning .net, as its easy to use, and you can build applications as well as websites really easily, however it does cost abit to learn since it is a microsoft thing

ASP and ASP.Net. Learn them, and you'll be set for the next 30+ years.

How long does it take to learn to use PHP or Visual Basic? Not master them but to be able to use them efficiently.

How old are you guys? Do you know how to program in ASP and do you know what it can do? Have you looked at requirements for Web programming jobs?

No, I didn't think so.

Give me 3 things ASP can do better than PHP/MySQL. Give me a SINGLE thing.

Oh and .asp per server license is in the 1k+ range.

PHP/MySQL? Free.
