Wow...100GB with 3GB space at US$4. The price is ridiculous cheap. How are they going to earn? Or they just try to spoil the market.

I do not know how they do it so cheap. I make sure they have a high quality rating though.

However, a warning is in order....

Yahoo! had the same deal a few months ago, and both companies - Yahoo! and iPower - make it nearly impossible to transfer your domain name away from them. Technically, you do not really own the domain name when you buy from Yahoo! or iPower, and there are other registrars who do this as well.

It's better to stick with a reputable company, such as GoDaddy.com or eNom. You may pay a bit more, but it is truly your domain name, and you are free to do whatever you wish with it.

@The Stealthy One

Could you elaborate on how you do not own the domain?

Well, basically it's as I already said - when you try to transfer to a different registrar, they do not really let you do so. They insist on keeping the domain name registered with them.

Do you have something to reference your claims with?
I want hard evidence, take a screen shot of what makes is so hard to transfer the domain name.

I saw an ad for 1&1 (http://www.1and1.com) in the last issue of Entrepreneur Magazine. It's cheaper than GoDaddy, so I was wondering, is there anything that is included with GoDaddy that you are missing with 1&1?

pollution, there is no screenshot. I am afraid you misunderstand what I am saying. When you call Yahoo! or iPower to unlock your domain name so you can transfer it, they do not allow you to do this. I have an email from them stating this as well, but I consider the contents of my emails to be private. You do not have to take my advice, of course, but I am just trying to warn you to stick with a more reputable registrar, such as GoDaddy.com.
