I came up with an idea that would take advantage of all the traffic Digg.com gets and wanted to hear some thoughts.

The company would be a co-op with about 100-200 people in it, profits would be divided evenly among everyone.

Basically we would offer digg advertisinng by submitting an article/link of the advertisers description. Everybody in the company would go and digg the item, thus putting it to the front page, giving massive exposure.

Ex. A poker site wants to advertise a new deal they are offering. They pay us $200 ($1-2/person depending on the number of members) and we digg the article to the front page.

It would be fairly easy to attract members since hey would make $1 for about a minuet of their time

Thoughts?

digging items for pay is either unethical, or against digg tos

if this story got out, digg would take a lot of bad pr
