There are sites out there that let you create your own blog for free, like blogger.com but does anyone know if there is a site that lets you create your own forum?

I have an idea for creating a forum/community where addicted gamblers and ex addicted gamblers can talk amongst each other and create a positive community where they can discuss positive things in their life that they do that replace their nasty compulsive gambling problems.

I myself used to have a major problem gambling, which at a young age is no good. It's been 3 months and I haven't so much as bet on my favorite basketball team the Mavericks (which is too bad, because they've been hot as hell). I'm a true entrepreneur at heart and found this website from google. The last couple months it has "replaced" the time I used to spend playing online poker...

Does anyone have any suggestions for my idea. Do you think a blog would be sufficient or would a forum be better?

There are plenty of sites that do this. Just go to Google and type in "free hosted forum" and take it from there.

Ok, so I just started a forum. It's a forum designed to help ex-gamblers control their compulsive urges, share stories of tragedy and help promote interests and goals for the future. The forum I started was a free one, is there anyway i would be able to sell advertising space in the future if I can't even really edit the way my page is setup?
