Hey, I am looking to start a blog where not only I can post, but anyone. I know they all have "multi-user" features, but you'd have to manually add them. Is there a blog service out there that would allow people on my site to register and post articles themselves? Thanks. I am looking to do something like this: http://www.provopulse.com.

You may want to look into using the wordpress multiuser module (i think it was word press), they have a really solid system and great user templates. But starting a community like that is alot of work and needs alot of marketing, so be wary of that

Well when I signed up for Wordpress, I did find it a very nice one. Great features and VERY user friendly. But as far as the multi-user, it's the same as every other blogging system I have seen, I have to manually add members to my blog.

But if there aren't any blog systems out there that I am looking for, is it wise to set up a contact form where people can "sign up" to be members?

Hassman, I think you have to go through route only unless you code a script for direct non-member postings. But you can use the comments section as this option i.e. anyone can post.
