Well, first you should establish what niche your ebook falls into. If you don't know what it falls under, let me know I will help you. Your ebook of 20 pages is more like a report and really good for creating a list. Find a rebrander, this means the person who gets the book can rebrand it in their name and give it to more people, this is a form of viral marketing.
Ok so you got your book, rebrander, and get a website....
You are going to create a nice list with the book, and then use the lsit for back sales and affilaite sales.
Find 5 affiliate programs that have to do with your niche... you can use clickbank or what ever source you have.
In the back of the book, or through out the book add a reccomended product to it, using your aff link.
(If you see what I'm getting at, you give it to people, they rebrand it and give it to more, your AFFiliate links follow the whole ride)
Then using the niche keywords you found, find 5 good forums with that niche..
Sign up and introduce yourself with your website in the signature file.
Look into 5 internet marketing forums:
www.warriorforum.com/forum
www.v7n.com
www.imfornewbies.com
this one
........etc
Make a nice Joint Venture Post, have it say, that you want to allow them to give this book to their lists as free good content. Clearly define the niche you are in.
On the 5 niched forums, it does not hurt to give away free information, so let people know about it, talk abotu your experiences with the niche, and give it to them to create a list.
At this point of the process you could have a lot of sign ups form the forums, and hopefully at least 3 JV partners.
Have them send the website to their lists... your list will increase, your book exposure will run wild, as people start giving it away to their lists and it works like a pyramid, a viral campaign as we call it.
Your affiliate links should get some good sales, for they are extremly targeted.
You should have a nice list together now, possibly 1,000 people
Send them a feedback survey for the book to find out if they liked it... the ones you get a response to make a separate folder for them, these are your PROFIT SALES...
OK... so now the whole viral campaign is done, that ebook could travel for a long time, so you could see sales you don't even know where they came from.
With the list, you need to target them again, send them 5 articles one at a time, Twice a week realted to the niche, NOTHING PROMOTING. THese should all be informative.
Then after those 5, send an email to the list looking for 10 BEta Testers for your new product... Hopefully you will query up a response of list members wanting in for free. Pick 10 put the rest in the PROFIT SALES list.
Make a new product....
Send it back to the list....
