I personally would use godaddy, they seem to be a much more public company and they seem to be innovative, where as 1and1.com, I have never heard of in my life until recently in Business 2.0. GoDaddy seems like the smarter choice to me.

Nah-ah. Anyone using their domain registrar for webhosting is asking for trouble.

Quick rule of thumb:

- Domain registrars for domain registration
- Webhosting companies for webhosting

I assure you, people do mix them up and they end up paying for it later.
