I just purchased a domain from godaddy and am very new to webdesign, can anyone suggest me a way to get started to just turning my website into an open blog posting forum where people can post entries and others can comment on them? Thanks!

If you have cpanel with your hosting account you can set up a blog easily with a couple of clicks of your mouse.

Other wise I would use wordpress.org - download the files and then upload them to your hosting account to create the blog.

if you have a mysql database, just go to wordpress.org, download and extract it to your webspace, input mysql db info, and you are up and running in less than 5 minutes

Its hosted on blogger and I just got a GoDaddy domain name. You can basically set it up that your domain name fowards to your blog and host the blog on blogger. You can even set blogger up so that others can post entries and comments.

I learned how to setup a blog recently through a network marketing group, I am a member of. In fact, this group will show you how to do a lot of online network marketing methods. I have started implementing them and I am gradually starting to see some things happen with my business. I have only been with them for not even 3 weeks.
