I hope to grow a community of tech workers so we can fight back and help each other cope with this issue.

I know, that's why I outsource. I really need a web developer right now who will work cheaply; if you have one in your community, please let me know.

I see, so you're one of the people who'd like to help sell out this country in order to save a few bucks, got it.

Why because company's rather choose cheaper and often harder working workers for the same quality of work whenever possible?

Selling out this country eh?

Well if a corporation is making a significant amount of more money because of the effect it's outsourcing then they help the national / world economy, along with paying more taxes, and as they expand, hire more employees here and internationally.

It's capitalism, This country was built by it, and still it's foundation.

Perhaps people who are so worried about such things need a more "valuable" job.

We have telephone customer support for our holding company by outsourcing to India.

Saves an immense amount.

I suppose, the smaller you are the worse your off in this scenario.

However, this forum is not for people in positions that should be affected negatively by outsourcing. Just the opposite.

If your an entrepreneur, you should be the one that would hire, not to be hired.

I see there versas.

I'm all for capitalism, in the US.

What's gonna happen should we go to war with these countries and no longer have all these workers to fullfil these positions and we've lost the expertise in this country?

Me, i'd rather pay the extra $10 for a CD player than pump money into the Chinese economy.

its about competition. Who is better to help save, US businesses or US consumers? probably 95% of people who know what they are talking about will say US businesses; since private enterprises are the backbone of the US economy.

I'm all for outsourcing if that is what a company wants to do. If you don't like it, then don't work with a business that does that. So many small businesses are in business and employing people just because they are able to cut some costs by outsourcing. If they couldn't, then they wouldn't be able to be in business.

Stop acting like liberal union workers and be creative, find a way for you to make it.

Golf, I agree with you in a way.

I feel as Depending on the product I am buying, I expect certain quality with the product/and or service.

Like, If I am buying a High Class suit, It better be made somewhere Else, than china, But If I am buying Plastic gladware bowls, I dont care.

But, I do believe in Buying the Made In US products.
