Hello all. I have a few questions about being spam or being blacklisted. I have a weekly e-mail subscription that I am trying to get going. Only have like 8 people that are signed up right now. But the problem I am having is certain people are not getting the e-mails. So it does not help to have 8 people signed up if only 3 are getting it. (I think there is more then 3 but that is just a number.)

Sos here is my question. How can I tell if I have found myself being blacklisted from some servers? I mean I can create my own account at any of the free mail servers and check it myself but that will take a long time and only test a very small number of servers. So is there normally a list somewhere or normally an address I can write to with the different servers like <blacklist@aol.com> or something? I am sure there is something. Let me know and thank you in advance for your replies.

I use constantcontact.com. no too expensive, works well, and gives you statistics on how many emails bounced, were reported as spam, were opened, etc.

I use get response and they have been great. I can host as many lists as I want on it.


@ journeyoftheanimals - I am not sure how you go about checking and seeing if you are black listed.

Currently I am using phplist.com but that might be changing if I keep having problems. Sure wish there was a way to see if I was blacklisted anywhere though.
