I agree with you Nado. I also noticed they have deleted F360's signature...

That is if there are mods on these boards that do something. In a message board of this caliber elsewhere I am almost certain this post would have been locked long ago. Do they even lock posts here?

Fattony i think you quoted the wrong person because Nado never said that.

F360/Deejay, i don't think you should blame Wowzerz for you being banned, he wrongly accused you for clicking your own ads and that's all he did, nothing more, he was not the person banning you.

Also it wasnt very smart starting a second account, now you have really gone against the TOS of this forum.

However, im looking forward to hearing a explanation from the mods.

The last thing the world needs is ANOTHER forum for entrepreneurs. There are PLENTY of alternatives out there if you don't like this one, a couple of great ones actually. Throwing up ANOTHER phpbb forum isn't the answer man, just go elsewhere if you're that unhappy.

You are SOOOOOO Right

we do not need "just another forum"

Which is why it is a movement.

Of people who are SERIOUS about learning how to start and/or improve their business.

Its also why the forum has created its own mini economy. Its not about features, bells and whistles -like blogs and podcasts because thats whats hip, or the latest and greatest.

Its about equiping Young CEOs on a forum with TOOLS to help them succeed.

In a matter of four days we have had 4 business transactions and 50 members sign up.

I think not only is it different and needed - its working.

Go see what all the fuss is about yourself

Also be sure to read "why you should join". It gives my vision on what the forum is to become.

I have gone to see "what all the fuss is about" - I don't see any fuss. I see 50 some members signed up because they're pissed at this place, but they're not going to be fascinated by "Firefox or IE" and "What is your screen resolution" for very long. Forums are hard to grow and even harder to maintain.

Listen, Maurice...I understand what you're trying to do - but the alternatives I'm talking about are also exceptional, long standing, and devoted to the same things you're trying to enter the marketplace to do.

What tools are you giving your members that other forums aren't? YC$ isn't the answer-all either...That's a good idea in theory, but it's not going to work out man.

I'm just being honest with you and trying to help you make a good decision by hearing views from the outside looking in. We all know how easy it is to get lost in our own head about how "GREAT" our idea is when there is a bunch of other places online already doing a FANTASTIC JOB at the same thing.

You're going to need more than a base install of phpbb and a little plugin for forum currency (YC$) installed to compete with the big boys. A forum just isn't enough anymore.

I'm afraid the fact that you're calling blogs and podcasts trendy is just a sign of things to come. Just give it some thought man, that's all I'm saying. If you don't like YE, try some alternatives and see how you like them first before devoting precious time to something that's going to fall flat.

Just my 2 cents bro - take it with a tic tac. Best of luck in any case ok?

i build businesses for a living - never been afraid of the "big boys" especially when they are not taking care of their people

and i would say of 50 people on my forum - maybe 5 are from YE! My forum is not a refuge for banned YE members.

It is a resource for entrepreneurs --investigate before you talk.

Your prediction of "YC$ not going to work" is far from the truth - it already is -so once again, you are speaking out of ignorance.

Funny - I notice you have a habit of throwing little barbs and making accusations -- you have no clue what you are speaking about -- in the USA we call people like that "instigators" --they get things started up and back out and point the finger.

I don't expect anyone not used to being a leader, to understand where we are in just 4 days, and what that means.

Your words do not discourage, you see if they did, I would not be qualified to be an entrepreneur -scoffers always say "you cant, you wont"
thats you - be negative, you are the opposite of what our board is about.

Its that immaturity and senseless, juvenile highschool type "my clique (forum) is better than yours" i am trying to avoid.

Anyone and I mean ANYONE - mods on this board included - who feels its always us against them -is immature - if they do not see we are in the same industry with the same goals - then they are decieved to the realities of business.

In your mind gas stations are against each other, in reality they work together - hence why prices stay stable and stations on opposite corners have pricing within a nickel of each other.

If you think there is no room for another forum, then there is no room for microsoft to come out with a media player, or firefox to come out with a browser, or for Joe to come out with his hamburger stand.

I say podcast and blogs for YE are fashion - not function.

Blogs are great, so are blogs - i own both well not a podcast, mine is a live radio station - over ayear now. BUT YE MEMBERS CLEARLY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THEM --so why is that priority?

I am simply voicing the opinions of others. If that makes me a bad guy -so be it - but if you take the "check engine" light out of your dash, it doesnt stop the problem, just stops you from facing it...until its too late.

How many threads has this board been called communist and dictatorial - I never said that - others have - but Im sure I am talking bad about YE for repeating it right?

It is ignoring those things, that make YE past its prime, and opens the doors for alternatives.

If you recall - i TRIED VERY HARD TO WORK WITH YE - they did not want it. So should the people suffer because YE could care less what its members want?

I never said I dont like YE -so though they may ban me, and based on PMs ive gotten, they probably will, I wont be leaving.
