I was just pulling that out of my rear - but thats usually why they can your account w/out the ability for appeal.

No they are not worthless - I am banned from adsense, whoever buys the site can put there own adsense on it? I thought that would be obvious

And no, Im not banned because I clicked my own ads....that was a bit of a tough accusation Wowzers

Edit: I see you mention appeal - I have the ability to appeal, and am doing so now. If I get the accout back the sites are no longer for sale - because they were making my good money

They don't ban YOU - they ban the URL. If the URL's your selling have been banned from adsense, the buyer will have a hell of a time getting them back online.

And it's not that tough of an accusation, nearly everyone has the temptation to click their own ads, at first it seems like easy money - but really you're just kicking yourself in the teeth.

You say they don't ban me? So can I register another account or not?
Where does it say they will ban the URL? I'd just like to see proof of this becuase if it is true, obviously no-one will (or should) pay for the domains

And, yes it was a tough accusation

Saying "He's banned because he clicked his own ads" is just stupid. Is it true? No. Where did you get that information from? Not a very reliable source....or did you just assume it? Assumption is said to be the mother of all fuckups

Of course everyone is tempted, but because everyone is tempted does not mean I click my own ads....

Chill out buddy, it's going to be alright. How about this...post up a screenshot from AdSense, it'll be easy as pie to decipher click fraud on a site that hasn't been up long and doesn't make much money.

Look...they don't use an automated system. When a site pops up that's flagged as fraudulent they have ACTUAL PEOPLE with REAL common sense take a look at it. If they see you apply for another account for a website that's already proven to be a problem, they'll just deny your application. Just because you change the name on the application doesn't mean they're going to say "wow...must be legit" - like I said, human eyes drive their application process. It doesn't really matter how you want to look at it, the bottom line is if you or your site has caused them problems in the past, you're burnt - they're not playing around with it anymore because it's endangering their biggest revenue stream.

And yeah, you can appeal, but it's a very slim chance you'll get accepted back in, especially if you weren't a big earner to begin with.

I just want to know if it's true that they ban the actual URL from adsense, prohibiting anyone else from putting up their own code. Can anyone else confirm/deny this?

Why no screenshot? All the sites for sale on Sitepoint put up screenshots to substantiate their claims. How can we assign a true value to the site(s) w/out knowing the actual revenue?

hi everyone, I've just been asked by F360/Matt to post this message. He's contacted the admins, but had no reply yet so...

Message from F360:
"Hey all, looks like i've been banned from YE because of all this. To clear it up heres the situation: I got banned from adsense for an unknown reason, and decided to sell my sites so others could earn money from them. Sadly Wowzers jumped to conclusions and said that I was clicking my own ads, which was not the case. Some admin decided Wowzers claim was right and actually believed I was clicking my own ads. The truth is Google made a mistake in banning my account.I have just heard from them and they have admitted so, and given my account back...so the sites are not for sale anymore. Hope to speak to you all on the other forums."
