Adsense vs Affiliate Programs

In your opinion which would be the better way to go?? I have both on my site www.moneythenpolitics.com. I'm asking because I'm trying to decide which one I"m going to use as my main banner right now I"m using the affiliate program as my banner. What does everyone think?

Affiliate programs need sites to be built around them. Adsense can just be slapped on a site and people would start clicking. The way you have it, there is just a banner for an unrelated affiliate program and it probably wouldn't make much money. So I would say use Adsense.

I think two of them are same way to make money. But the different is affiliate need a to choose a good product to display and adsense just need to paste their code and leave it to google to handle it. What u can do is publish a good article, good keyword and focus to niche.
