Hi Grace, how you doing? Unfortunately, age is a barrier in business but far less so on the internet. If you're confident you can make this work you should put everything into getting this online. If you don't have the money, get a part time job and when you can afford it get an internet presence. Not only can you make money but it will give you crucial experience at a young age and will stand you in good stead if it comes to establishing a retail outlet. Alternatively of course you could seek investors in this project to fund a development. If you're interested, pull a business plan together using some internet resources. I for one would be happy to look into it as a potential shareholder. Good luck.

Most of us here were at where you are at.

To combat the age thing...have or portray deep confidence in yourself. No one can take anyone serious if they don't have confidence.

Onto selling your earings. It is going to be alittle tuff because just about everything done online requires a credit card. So you will need some help from a person that has a credit card. You can get really cheap websites from www.homestead.com. I think they'll even host it for you all for like $10/month.

Its all setup to let anyone be able to create their own website without needing to know any special programming or design skills.

Once you have your website create some flyers telling people what a great gift idea they are. (christmas is coming fast) Make sure the flyers are of good quality with pictures that show your work in detail.

Sales tip: Always sell the benefits of a product and not the product. For example when I sold industrial lighting. I never told anyone I was selling a lightbulb that costs $14. I told them I was selling industrail lighting solution packages. That will lower power usage and also last longer then other brands. I then told them that because they last longer they will save hundreds every year because less man hours will be needed to deal with the lighting fixtures. Also they will not have to worry about purchasing lighting equipment as often because our solutions come with a 4 year money back guarantee.

How this pertains to you...."You are not selling earings! You are selling Authentic Handmade Jewlery at affordable prices."

So just make sure when you put ours up there have one of your guys use a sharpie marker and write the date on them and you're all good...no more worries for another 4 years! [b]*What PO# should I use for this?*[b]

How this works for you..."Your granddaughter/sister/mother...is going to be so happy that you bought these for them. I can almost picture the smile on their face already."

*Always ask for the money! You cannot sell anything without asking for the money/order. ::sidenote:: Don't sell just one order, ask for an order of 5 and that you give a discount to everyone who orders packs of 5. You can always drop down to one order later.

Assume the sale...Every person you talk to about your product you should speak to them as if you can predict the future, and you already know they are going to buy from you.

well hope this helps...keep us updated

i also run several business and know how difficult it can be to set business up, you really need to get an over 18 on side who your tust to manage the bank account and credit card and all stuff that needs adult.

I agree with business portfolio get part time job and some capital together and get your self site, or you could create a business plan and get shareholders, which im sure many on here would bei nterested in buying including myself.
