Hi, I live in California and Im in the process of starting a online business. I've been researching incorporating in california and have found that I will be having to pay a minimum corporation franchise fee of $800 dollars per year. I have also read that this fee is smaller or non existent in other states, and was wondering if it would be a good idea to file my corporation in one of those states. Would the fact that Im living in California mean that I'm doing business here even though my business is strictly on the internet? Thanks.
